He was predeceased by: his parents, George Soefje and Julia Soefje; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Holtgreven and Reginald MacDonough. He is survived by: his wife Miss LaVerne Marilyn Zwicke; his children, Tara Bittner (Michael), Tricia Harwell (David) and Justin Soefje (Stacey); his grandchildren, John McNeal, A. J. Harwell, Rachel Bittner, Erin Bittner, Julia Harwell, Nicole Bittner, Rayleigh Soefje and Alayna Soefje; and his sisters, Annette Holtgreven and Christine MacDonough. He is also survived by sister-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
