It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Smith Jr. of Cameron, Texas, born in Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Thomas and Virginia Smith (Duncan); his son Daniel T. "Trey" Smith III of Dallas; and his brother William Chester Smith of Tyler.
