He is survived by: his wife Elva Vargas of San Antonio; his children, Angel Vargas (Esther) of Cameron, Abraham Vargas of San Antonio and Melinda Vargas of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Brandon Vargas, Vincent Vargas, Selene Vargas and Marco Vargas; and his siblings, Miguel Vargas (Alberta) of Cameron, Adela Corona of Cameron, Juan Vargas (Sylvia) of Cameron, Jose Vargas (Josie) of Rogers and Elpidia Fenton (Frederick) of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
