He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Bacak; his former wife Anita Joyce Bacak; his brother John Robert; his sister-in-law Doris Bacak; his siblings, Henry "Hank" Bacak and Therese Heinrich; and his brother-in-law Jim Opiela.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Marie Bacak (Bruegging); his children, Sandra Bacak of Houston, Chris Bacak (Yaping Zheng), Cheryl (Richard Moxley), Lisa (Robert Roth), Dwane (Dawn Bacak), Glenn (Judi Francis) and Chris Francis of Brenham; his grandchildren, Clare Bacak, Stephen Moxley, John Moxley, Kayla Moxley, Sara Roth, Emily Roth, Riley Bacak, Anya Bacak, Xavier Francis (Phoebe Matkin), Annamarie Francis Beladi (Joevan) and Christina Carr; his great grandchildren, Drake Beladi, Keeley Francis, Dylan Carr and Cheyenne Carr; his sisters, Rose Ann Bacak, Barbara Bacak and Bettie Marie Opiela (Roy Lee Heinrich); and his sisters-in-law, Alice Bacak and Yupin Bacak. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
