He is survived by: his wife Shirley Parrish; his children, Karen Winkler (Robert), Dennis Maynard, Sheri Rich (Billy) and James Maynard; his stepson Doyle Parrish (Latisha); his grandchildren, Heather Huff (Kyle), Ashton Randermann (Andy), Zach Brittain (Tiffany), Christopher Gene Maynard, Lindsey Pagan, Jamie Pagan, Shalynn Maynard (Will), Dennis Maynard, Monica Maynard, Christopher Allen Maynard, Tiffanie Fritz, Bradley Rich, Thomas Maynard, Jamie Joann Maynard, Korey Parrish (Jessica), Jordan Parrish and Wesley Parrish; his sister Billie Jasinski; his friend Cooter; and his brothers, Charles and George.
