It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Faist Jr. (Burton, Texas), born in New Ulm, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Frieda Wassermann Faist; his wife June Faist; his son Rodney Faist; and his parent Bennie Sr Faist. He is survived by: his former wife Lillie Buechmann; his daughter Rhonda Maass (David Lichti) of Burton; his great grandchildren, Stephanie, Cody, Hadley, Karsyn Schulze of Burton, Melissa, Justin, Layne Bilski of Burton and Colton Maass (Lauren Schobel) of Brenham; his pet Shirley; his sister Peggy Venghaus of Frelsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Hubert Stiewert of Halletsville, Ruby Gandy of Belton, Wilma Boeker of Brenham and Esther Klatte of Brenham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
