He was predeceased by: his wife Elvira "Vera" Fuentes; his parents, Francisco Fuentes and Natividad Fuentes (Dena); and his siblings, Berta Fuentes DeLuna, Rosalua Fuentes Reyes, Alicia Fuentes, Esther Fuentes, Olga Fuentes Juarez, Guillermina Fuentes Villarreal, Oscar Fuentes and Leonel Fuentes.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Fuentes (Norma), Samuel Fuentes, Armando Jeffery Fuentes (Elizabeth) and Annabel Nelson (Chad). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
