It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Wayne Mathews (Burkburnett, Texas), born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 1, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Bertha Mae Mathews (Walker); his wife Dorothy Alice Mathews (Bowers); his siblings, Rex, Bob, Guy Mathews and Ruth Wood; and his stepson Jeff Caouette.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Mathews; his stepson Nelson Caouette (Yvette) of Manchaca; his sister Betty Robbins of Wichita Falls; his grandchildren, Stephanie Lammers (Mathias) and Damon Caouette; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Peyton and Gemma.
