He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Rhodes and Dora Rhodes; his brother Johnny; his grandson Micheal; his nephew Brian; his daughter-in-law Halle; and his great grandchildren, Isabell and Maurer.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Donald P. Rhodes, Crowell, Billy Jay Rhodes, Wichita Falls, Becky Ann Rhodes of Wichita Falls, Michael David Rhodes of Wichita Falls, Pam Lowery, Priscilla Truitt, Fort Worth, Ray Oldham, Jr. of Fort Worth and Stacey Mullins of Fort Worth; and his siblings, Jerry Rhodes (Karen) of Wichita Falls, Joan Rushing (Tommy) of Randlett and Peggy Gales (Delbert) of Iowa Park. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
