It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace McAlpin (Bullard, Texas), who passed away on February 5, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh "Tom" and Willie Belle Tarrant (Cole); her husband Morris McAlpin; her son Jerry McAlpin; and her siblings, Rachel Smith and Temple Tarrant.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Suzanne Alexander of Athens; her brother Billy Joe; her sister-in-law Flo Tarrant; her granddaughter Natalie McAlpin of Hammond, LA; her close friend Charles "Sonny" Overguard of Claremore, OK; her nieces, Barbara Jo Odom of Bullard, Faye Lynn Ryan of Bullard, Donna Van Dusen of Flint and Deanna Etter of Spring; and her nephew Gary Tarrant.
