She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vernon Werner and Annette Anderson Werner; her husband Eugene Arthur Ricks of Brookeland; her sons, Brent Eugene Ricks of Beaumont and Aaron Galen Ricks (Renee) of Brookeland; her sisters, LaVelle Brown of Sour Lake and Glenda Linscomb of Vidor; her grandchildren, Daniel Jordan Daley, Ginger, Michael Clint Ricks, Tessa, Caleb Ethan Ricks, Tegan, Raini Renee Ricks, Shayla Breanne Ricks Sterling, Dustin and Brent Austin Ricks; and her great grandchildren, Stella Claire Daley, Josie Layne Daley, Emerson Kate Ricks, Cashton Sterling and Dayton Sterling. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
