He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Valeria Lewis (Cleveland) of Decatur; his former wife Denise Holladay; his friend Gracie; his father Virgal "Rooster" Oates; his son-in-law Robert "Rob" Gonzalez; his wife Denise "DiDi" Oates of Paradise; his children, Tiffany Oates Gonzalez of Denton, Gracie Rae Oates of Paradise and Stetson Oates (Leslie) of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Cooper, Reece, Landry and Blake; and his nieces, Meredith Quach (Cha) of Frisco, Chelsea Holder of Ft. Worth and Cala Holder of Ft. Worth.
