He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Ortega and Anita Ortega (Nunez). He is survived by: his wife Alicia Ortega of Pecos, Texas; his daughter Gloria Matta of Bridgeport; and his brother Jesus Ortega of Odessa, Texas. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
