He is survived by: his wife Janis Gayle Moore; his children, Kristy Lynn Chapman (Kory) of Decatur and Luke Meyers; his grandchildren, Tyler Chapman, Landri Murphy, Cooper Meyers, Allie Murphy, Cason Meyers, Garrett Murphy and Marisleyzie Martinez; his sisters, Cathy Blum (Tommy) and Susie Anders (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Meyers and David Moore (Lynn).

He helped people in need through fundraising and organizing charity events.
