With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Tapp in Bridgeport, Texas, born in Decatur, Texas, who passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Lorene Tapp (Etheridge) and Alex Cleburne Tapp, Sr.; his daughter Jennifer Gail Tapp; and his sisters, Bobbie Jean Hill (Tapp) and Melba Joyce Newman (Tapp).
He is survived by: his brother Alex Cleburne Tapp, Jr.; his children, Rebecca Lee Tapp-Kinnison and Alex Charles Tapp; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Gail Wentz (Kevin), Jerrett Robert Wentz, Lorelai Ann Banta-Tapp, Ryan Rebecca Tapp and William Tapp Kinnnison (Brooks).
