He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alexander "Sandy" and Blanche Chilton (Winn); his siblings-in-law, Doris Chilton, Laura McQuinn, Nell Snow, Joyce Stroud, Jewel Crum, Ronnie Holt, Bobbie Dee McQuinn, Billy Snow, Richard Stroud, Ed Doss and Weldon Crum; his grandparents, Thompson Forrest, Quinnie Ethel Needham Winn, Samuel Porter and Viola Thomas Chilton (Ola); and his great-grandparents, William Richard, Elizabeth Keith Scruggs Chilton, John Walker, Minerva Elizabeth Anderson Thomas, Emily Jane Vineyard Winn, William Brantley and Sallie Jane Culberson Needham.
He is survived by: his wife Goldie Chilton; his daughter Angela Lee Chilton (Jeff Vassett); his brothers, Danny Joe and Johnny Chilton; his sisters-in-law, Isabelle Hunn, Alice Doss and Ann Holt; his niece Donna; and his nephew Richard Stothers.
