Barnes (Bridge City, Texas), born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter R. Ayo and Mary Freda Hodgkinson Ayo; her daughter Marlys Barnes; her siblings, Raymond Ayo and Juanita Ducote; and her siblings-in-law, Louis Ducote and Murlene Ayo.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Gerald Ayo; her husband Robert E. Barnes; her children, Robyn Smith (John), Meredith Beckcom and Scott Barnes; her grandchildren, Morgan Dupuis (Leslie) of Jesse Doucette, Taylor Yeaman (Jeremy) of Jesse Doucette, Tristan Barnes (Summer) of Jesse Doucette, Katelyn Edwards (Nate) of Jesse Doucette, Hunter Beckcom of Jesse Doucette, Kenneth Beckcom of Jesse Doucette, Paige Austin (Matt) of Jesse Doucette, Angie Smith (Andrea) of Jesse Doucette and Garney Doucette of Jesse Doucette; and also, Murlene Ayo and Williamsburg. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephew.
