It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Jones (Bridge City, Texas), born in Alvord, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Jones and Jewel Forsythe Jones. He is survived by: his wife Dianna Jones; his children, Dustin Abernathy (Brandy) of Carthage and Dedra Abernathy Smith of Mineral Wells; his stepchildren, April Simon (Sherri) of Dickinson and Chris Simon of Ohio; and his siblings, Donald Jones (JoAnn) and Frances Ratley (Mike). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
