He was predeceased by: his son Ronnie Ray Amador; his brother Robert Amador; and his parents, John Amador and Frances Amador. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Cindy, Catherine, Barbara, John, Carol, Shelby and Grace; and his sister Barbara Baca of New Mexico. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
