It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kubeczka formerly of Brenham, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Boortz, Sr. and Rosie Mary Boortz (Strahan); her husband Clem Kubeczka; her brothers, Kerry Boortz and Darrell Boortz; and her siblings-in-law, Floyd, Lucille Kubeczka of Chappell Hill and Patricia Kubeczka of Brenham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon McClain (Todd) of College Station and Deborah Kubeczka of Sunland, California; her grandson Wyatt McClain of College Station; her siblings, Joyce Pankonien (Gus) of Cypress, Texas, Edwin Boortz, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Ronnie Boortz (Linda) of Boerne, Texas, Larry Boortz (Diane) of Cypress, Texas and Sue Dockery (Glen) of Nacogdoches, Texas; her stepsister Jean Jungbauer (Joe) of Houston, Texas; and her brother-in-law Raymond Kubeczka of Brenham, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
