It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerdine Blome of Brenham, Texas, born in Washington, Texas, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Buerger and Ella Berger Buerger; and her sisters, Hortense (George Rhodes) and Dorothy Wehmeyer (Fred Louis Heckmann). She is survived by: her husband Wilfred Blome; her sister Majorie Heckmann; her brother-in-law Calvin Wehmeyer of Brenham; and her children, Glenn Reimer, Kirby Lampe, Debbie Mueller, Tammy Lampe Whidden, Kendall Kramer, Stephanie Ball and Rachel Kramer Phife. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials are requested to St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill, Hospice Brazos Valley or a charity of choice.
