He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Martinez and Carlota Martinez; his son David Martinez; his siblings, Richard Martinez, Pete Martinez, Victor Martinez, Lupe Pena, Jesse Zambrano, Gilbert Martinez and Louisa Palacios; and his stepdaughter Andrea Jimenez.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hernandez Martinez; his sons, Daniel Martinez (Baudilia) and Carlos Martinez (Nanette); his stepdaughters, Priscilla Best (Bryan), Wendy Rangel (Felipe) and Mandy Rangel (Rigoberto); and his sister Hortencia Martinez. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
