It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorene Joanne Drake of Brenham, Texas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Drake and Beatta Totten Drake; her brother David Drake; and her sister-in-law Irene Rzepka Drake (Ernest Knipp). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Knipp; her sister Jan Herbst (Fritz); her nieces, Kristi Herbst Kincaid (Chad), Sarah Drake Maxcey (Jeff) and Karen Herbst Tass (David); her nephew Karl Herbst (Mary Katherine Brown); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Maxcey, Katie Herbst, Lauren Maxcey, Gareth Kincaid, Grace Herbst, Emily Herbst, Karis Kincaid, Joey Herbst, Carter Tass and Caitlin Tass.
