He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Louise Arnold (Louise) and Alexander Donald Jones (A. D.); and his brothers, A. D. Jones Jr. and Temple Evans Jones. He is survived by: his wife Suzann Seidel Jones; his son Russell; his daughter-in-law Mary; his daughter Jill; his son-in-law Mark Rome; his grandchildren, Meredith, Cason Jones, Paxton and Hayden Rome; his great grandchildren, Sarah McKirahan and John McKirahan; his godchildren, Elena Serafine Zelco and Brian Serafine; and his sister Marilyn (Brian Webster). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
