He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Patterson and Ruth Patterson; and his brothers, Thomas and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Carol Patterson; his sons, Mike (Marie), Randy (Kathy), Mark (Wendy) and Joe; his brother Daniel (Beth); his grandchildren, Kristi Vaughn (Cody), Brian Patterson, Quinn Patterson and Joely Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Vaughn and Kaitlyn Vaughn.
