He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhardt Schulze and Wilma Schulze (Ziesemer); his siblings, Earline Brockermeyer (Floyd) and Floyd "Jack" Schulze (Beth Frances); his nephew Allen Wayne Brockermeyer; and his niece Linda Brockermeyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Ray Schulze (Mondisa) and Dennis Wayne Schulze (Donna); the mother of his children Maudine Nevill; his grandchild Bubba of Mary, BJ; and his great grandchildren, Kash, Madalynn and Shane Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given in his name to St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, or to Amedisys Hospice Care, Bellville, Texas.
