He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kwiatkowski and Mary Kwiatkowski; his wife Mary Kovar Kwiatkowski; and his granddaughter Lauren Kainer. He is survived by: his children, Liz Kainer, John Kwiatkowski and Kathryn Tamez (Demetrio); his grandsons, Jared Kainer and Blaine Tamez; and his brother Willie Kwiatkowski (Florence). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer to receive assistance with funeral and remaining medical expenses.
