He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Betty and Lonny Blassingame; his parents, Helen Shiver and Blago Kovacevich; and his sisters, Lonnetta Portwood and Sunny Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Wesley Kovacevich; his children, Michael (Wende Boyd), Kelly (Daniel Cruz), Alesha Kovacevich of Weatherford and Kevin (Stephanie Kovacevich); his grandchildren, Price, Cooper Boyd, Caylon, Brock Kovacevich and Landon Kovacevich; his siblings, Billy Sherill, Randy Sherill and Tanya King; and his extended family, Dave, Faye Wesley, Terry, Culle and Camden.
The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in David's memory to the Stephens County Humane Society.
