She is survived by: her husband Bill Burns; her granddaughters, Nicole Nazarenus of Austin and Laura Marcyes (Max) of Austin; and her brothers, Larry Slaughter (Judy) of Andrews and Steve Slaughter (Susan) of Belton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
