He was predeceased by: his parents, Nieves Solis and Angelina Solis; his son Sylvester Solis Jr.; his grandson Jericho Solis; his brothers, Albert Solis and Seferino Solis; and his brother-in-law Obed Torrez.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gregory Solis of Brady and Sylvia Solis of Fort Worth; and his siblings, Marcos Solis (Elizabeth) of Brady, Fidelia Olivarez (Marcial) of Brady, Mary Torrez of Brady, Toni Flores (Manuel) of Bangs and Liz Solis of Abilene. He is also survived by his great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
