It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Simpson of Brady, Texas, born in Marshall, Texas, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dell S. Ray and Della Ray (Merryman); her son W. R. "Bill" Simpson; and her grandson Steven Douglas Maikell. She is survived by: her spouse Shadrick H. "Red" Simpson; her daughter Linda Maikell (Steve) of Sweetwater; her granddaughter Shadna Wise (Brad); her great grandchild Reagan Wise of Austin; and her grandson Jonathan Maikell (Jennifer) of Farmington Hills, Michigan..
