He was predeceased by: his parents, Med Gage and Myrtle Gage; his sisters, Pat Ribb and Diane Jeffrey; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Gage.

He is survived by: his wife Lila Gage; his children, Tony Gage (Kay), Bub Gage, Ginger Matschek (Brian) and Les Gage (Rosa); and his brother Lowell Gage. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
