He was predeceased by: his parents, Oiva William Harju and Beverly Jean Kecker Harju; and his brother Donald Harju. He is survived by: his sister Debra Hardy (Dale) of Newberry, Michigan; his nephews, Joshua Hardy and Justin Hardy (Patty); his great-niece Jordanna; and his great-nephew Jarod.
