He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Don Dougherty and Judy Williams; and his brother Jimmie Craig Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Tina of Fritch; his sons, Michael Dougherty, Jr. (Kristi) of Midwest City, Jimmie Dougherty (Courtney) of Amarillo, Matthew Dougherty of Amarillo and Derrick Brown (Michelle) of Amarillo; his niece Paige Martinez of Amarillo; and his great-nieces, Sariah and Jenice. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
