She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John F. Mesmer and Elizabeth Hollingsworth; her sons, Glenn Carter of Leander, TX, Tedd Carter of Lubbock, TX and Jeff Carter of Amarillo; and her brothers, Fred Jr. Mesmer of Omaha, Neb. and Joe Mesmer of North Platte, Neb.. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
