She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lewis W. Richards and Myrtle D. Richards (Roberson); her friend Main Street; her significant other Clarence; her daughters, Sharon Stevens and Karren Sartin; her son-in-law Tim Sartin; her granddaughter Kristen Armstrong; her sister Bertha Irons; and her grandchildren, Warren "Scott" Burns of Wynona, Okla., Danny Watson (Linda) of Borger, Texas, Joe Bob Kinnaman (Heather) of Shamrock, Texas, Cory Kinnaman (Audrey) of Wheeler, Texas, Donita Harris of Hollywood, Florida, Steven Been of Dallas, Texas, Karrissa McNew (Adam) of Amarillo, Texas, Shawn Watson (Betty) of Panhandle, Texas and Mark Watson (Kimberly) of Fritch, Texas.. She was also cherished by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a nephew and niece; and many beloved friends and other extended family.

Out of respect for public health and safety, Joan's family has requested everyone who attends the service to wear face masks and respect social distancing rules per the CDC guidelines.
