He was predeceased by: his father Fred Landers; and his grandparents, Horace, Judy Landers, Virginia Fletcher and Ben Riggle.
He is survived by: his mother Veda Riggle Landers; his sons, Christopher Landers of Borger and Matthew Landers of Odessa; his stepdaughter Candice Stell of Odessa; his sister Kayla Taylor (Dan) of Fritch; his nieces, Jennifer Harding and Melissa Ollis; and his nephew Levi Ollis. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
