He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Love Heidelberg, Sr. and Gertrude Wenzel Heidelberg; his brothers, Henry and Jerry Heidelberg; and his grandson Rickey McClarnen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley of Fritch; and his children, Wayne Heidelberg (Susie) of Fritch and Vickie Matthews (Haskell) of Borger. He is also survived by one sister; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
