It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Dacus of Borger, Texas, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Dacus to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Theo Dacus and Dolly Belle McAden Dacus; his former wife Cheryl Dacus; his son Damon Dacus; and his granddaughter Violet Rios.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Elaine Dacus of Borger; his children, Angela Wakefield (Sam) of Round Rock, Emily Dacus of Round Rock, Texas, Anissa Clary (Scott) of Amarillo and R. J. Jones of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Aralyn, Eloria, Sterling, Charley and Bertie Frazier of Amarillo; and his sister Lola Burritt (Bobby) of Rockport, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family.
