He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wayne Nichols, Sr. and Dolly Mae Swarthout Nichols; and his sister Debbie Rozzell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Stephanie Moore (Bobby) of Fritch; and his brother Albert Nichols (Barbara) of Pampa. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Association.
