He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lawrence Wallis and Geneva Wallis (Argo); his wife Freeda Lousie Webb; his siblings, Floyd, Clyde, Glen Roy, Donald and Dena; and his grandmother Jo Dodson-Boyte Tulsa.

He is survived by: his children, Samuel J. Wallis of Frederick, Joe Wallis (DeAnn) of Sherman, Texas and Geneva Louise Wallis of Sherman, Texas; and his brother Tommy Gene Wallis of Ardmore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
