He is survived by: his children, Tammy Burns (Darrell) and Robert Meckel; his grandchildren, Ryan Dillard (Briann), Russell Dillard, Justin Burns and Brianna Burns; his great grandchild Noah; and his siblings, William "Billy" Meckel and Ernestine "Teenie" Preddy (Butch). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
