He was predeceased by: his siblings, Thomas Ferguson, Dwight Ferguson (Teresa) and Ruby Parker; and his brother-in-law Bill Eudy. He is survived by: his parent Rosa Bobo Ferguson; his wife Mary Hall Ferguson; his children, Tammie Brunson (Rodney), Pam Burton and Chuck "Cookie" Ferguson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Kristi Green (Tommy), Christopher Burton, Reiley Palmer, Amanda Bailey (Cliff) and Nicole Williams (Bryan); his sister Dolores Eudy; and his sisters-in-law, Billy Parker, Judy Ferguson, Juanita McMillian, Evelyn Lowrance (John) and Bobby Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the East Post Oak Volunteer Fire Department or the Faught Volunteer Fire Department.
