It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Recia Lee Bedford of Bishop, Texas, born in San Benito, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Archie McGaughey; her husband Harrel Lee Bedford; her sons, James and Donelle Bedford; and her siblings, Ellen Toliver, Archie McGaughey, Jamison and Johnny McKnight.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Addison (Maurice), Velma Wickham (Kevin), Ronald Keith McGaughey, Harrel Lee Bedford Jr. (Nora), Chad Bedford and Tony Bedford; and her brother Walter McKnight. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
