He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Piñeda Sr. and Cleotilde Martinez Piñeda; his daughter Vicki Jo Pineda; and his brothers, Ruben Piñeda Jr. and Leonel Piñeda.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Jones Pineda; his children, Christian Pineda (Jennifer), Patricia Pineda, Dave Coronado, Christina Riep (Daniel), Jeffrey Coronado (Vanida) and Kimberly Garcia (Justin); his grandchild Maddie Coronado; his siblings, Linda Perkins (Will), Ana Vasquez (Pete), Ella Hoolahan (Richard) and Oscar Pineda (Glenda); and his grandchildren, Cade Pineda, Lucas Pineda, Austin Silva (Bailee), Kennedy, Kyleigh Silva, Catherine Quijas, Mikayla, Michelle Barrientes, Micah Coronado, McKinley Riep, Julien and Elahnia Garcia.
