He is survived by: his wife Christina Barrera of Bishop; his mother Mary Barrera of Kingsville; his stepmother Diana Barrera of Hebbronville; his children, Alex Barrera of Corpus Christi, Eliseo Barrera, Robert Richardson (Valerie) of Orange Grove, Ryan Richardson (Jenna) of Kingsville and Amanda Barrera of Premont; his siblings, Adriana Barrera-Simson (John) of Dickinson, Lillian Barrera-Martinez (Mike) of Dickinson, Penny Sustaita of Texas City, Elisa Barrera of Hebbronville, Steven Barrera (Gabby) of Kingsville and Anthony Barrera (Nina) of Corpus Christi; and his grandmother Santitos Barrera of Canyon. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
