We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2022, at the age of 77, Elena F. Covarrubias of Bishop, Texas, born in Kingsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Adan Figueroa and Maria Figueroa; her husband Roque Covarrubias; her grandson Jamie Flores; her children, Corina Covarrubias (Tony) of Kingsville, Terry Covarrubias of Kingsville, Sally Flores (Ismael) of Bishop, Jackie Reyes (Jose) of Bishop and Rogerio Covarrubias Jr.; her brother Nasario Figueroa (Liz) of Bishop; and her grandchildren, Gordy, Jeremy, Tanya, Angel, Roger, Brandy, Amberly, Isaac, Tamara, Alyssa, Noah and Brody. She was also cherished by fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
