It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jean Tyler (Bishop, Texas), born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on March 3, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Colonel Roger Barton Tyler Jr.; and her brother Judge Kerns Bowman Taylor. She is survived by: her great-great-grandparent Garrett; her great-grandparent William Stanhope Taylor; her children, John Vance Tyler (Jan Haynes Tyler) and Marian Tyler; her grandsons, Jason Brooks Tyler (Autumn Umphress), Matthew Bowman Tyler (Cheryl Sipkowski Tyler), Jeffery Haynes, Bryan Haynes (Sylvia) and Kari Jordan (Jeff); and also, Johnson, Arvilla Taylor and Wichita. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
