He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulalio Gonzalez and Guadalupe Alvarez; his wife Elosia Gonzalez; his son Larry Gonzalez; his son-in-law Edward Ramirez; and his grandchildren, Adolfo Contreras, Jr. and Kelly Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Contreras (Adolfo) of Bishop, Sylvia G. Ramirez of Bishop, Alejandro Gonzalez, Jr. (Cynthia) of Alice, Hilda Gonzalez of Bishop, Abel Gonzalez of Kingsville, Lucy Roberts (Russell) of Plano and Nick Gonzalez (Mari); and his siblings, Julian Gonzalez of Ingleside, Texas and Maria Soliz of Bishop. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
