He is survived by: his wife Diann Medina Martinez; his children, Marcie Vasquez (Avelino), Monica Whinery (Ryan), Mario Joseph Martinez, Valerie Correa (David), Johnny Rodriguez (Crystal), Donnie Rodriguez (Diana) and Adrian Rodriguez; and his siblings, Herbert Martinez, Sylvia Salazar, Mauro Martinez, Abel Martinez, Sammy Martinez, Hector Martinez, Theresa Delacruz, Frankie Martinez and Martha Martinez. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
